Delhi Diner

Good food, very nice owner, and nice ambiance. Food was spicier per level than is standard around here. I personally appreciate that, but it's good to know if spice isn't your thing to go a level lower than you otherwise would.

This place is cozy, and the food is delicious. We walked by while running errands and the food smelled so delicious that we went in for an unscheduled lunch. The menu has a nice selection and the staff was very friendly.

Had the curry fish and it was amazing..very nice place. Clean, beautiful and very friendly people. Vegan and gluten free dishes. Will visit again very soon. Reasonably priced.

I’ve eaten here twice now and have had an excellent experience both times—awesome food and service both times. Delhi diner has to compete with a lot of restaurants on Solano Ave, and they do a great job of standing out (even among all the Indian restaurants in Berkeley!). They always have something new to try from different regions in India, but still have all the mainstays that people look for in typical Indian restaurants in the U.S. I highly recommend it!

One of my favorite restaurants in the Bay Area, and hands down my favorite Indian restaurant. The menu is extensive and they have a monthly special menu with half a dozen appetizers and entrees. The food is prepared fresh to your preferred spice level. The owner is often here and is very friendly and hospitable. It's also a roomy and pleasant space.
