I Am Cafe

My favorite neighborhood coffee spot, although I go for more than the coffee. It a great place to chill and grab a great sandwich. On Fridays I get the vintage breakfast - eggs, grits, bacon, and a biscuit. Reminds me of my childhood!

The food was tasty, and the atmosphere was very fun and relaxed.

This is a gem in an unexpected area. I happen to drive by and found this on accident. I'm so glad I came in for breakfast! Staff is amazing and friendly. Interior is gorgeous and simple. I can't wait till they chain this closer to me but till then it's my new breakfast spot for sure!

Wonderful staff, terrific food! Their cold brew is no joke! It's strong and keeps me energized while I'm teaching at the local youth center. I Am Cafe also supports local artists by showcasing artwork in their space, which is really amazing.

I go to VIP nursing school and I'm across the street. I was in desperate need of coffee and I seen CAFE big as day so I went across the street and I seen a woman of color with the biggest smile behind the counter. She greeted me as I came in. I asked for coffee and seen potatoe salad. We joked for a min or 2 and asked if she had food. She told me yes and was going to get me a menu but I asked did she have anything she could make fast. She made me the best sandwich I've had in awhile. I also tried the potatoe salad which taste like my grandmother's and this damn cake she gave me I need her to show me something. I love this place already and I can't wait to try more. I love how the owner was the person behind the counter and she did an awesome job selling her products and holding her own. I will return I also asked her if I could pick her brain on the business side and she took my number. I love that my fellow woman of color is doing something positive and giving back. I wish I could give her more stars.
