Homemade Cafe

Food was really good. Pricing was a bit deceiving... i.e my $6 early bird rapidly produced a 19.50 kind of bill. Totally worth it, but would have preferred a more upfront pricing approach. Service on my visit was distracted/conflicted with internal "stuff". Still, loved the food....maybe the next time it bumps to 5-stars.

I make a point to visit whenever I'm in town. The staff is always sweet, the coffee plentiful, and the food perfect. Today I tried a seasonal hash with Brussels and butternut squash. Perfect!

Cozy place that appears to have been in the neighborhood forever. Didn’t research the history but has that “been there forever” feel that you can’t fabricate. The customers appear to be regulars and the staff seems to know them. Was staying in the area and picked this place on a whim after looking for a breakfast place on Google. Self serve refills on water and coffee which is a plus. Would definitely go out of my way to go back if I’m in the area again.

Great breakfast spot! The food is tasty, they have all the classic breakfasts along with some top notch breakfast sandwiches, and they have great seasonal specials. Large portions, the home fries are smaller, and as a result, nice and toasty. They use local eggs and care about their ingredients and their employees.

I had a fresh baked maple bacon muffin AND the pear coffee cake, and both will not disappoint. The bacon muffin has a nice soft corn bread-like batter, slightly sweet from the maple but rich with thick candied bacon. Not just bacon on top, it's in the batter as well. The coffee cake was soft, crumbly, and smooth textured. The pear in it was a nice light touch.

The coffee is good and strong but not too strong, good flavor. Service is incredibly friendly and quick despite the fact that they were bustling. There's a couple of outside shaded tables and inside there's booths and tables.
I'm definitely coming back for more!
