Döner n Kebab

This is a nice restaurant with decent food, but it’s understaffed. Same person takes the orders and prepares the food. Obviously, she doesn’t have time to keep the tables clean.

Service was quick, prices above average for lunch, but nothing horrible. Ordering was interesting, you have to pick items from several menu locations, pick your carb, tortilla, bread, then pick your meat, chicken, beef,lamb, then pick your sides. Nice way to up sell. The presentation was nice and the food fresh and tasty. The red hot sause was very spicy. I should not have drowned my food in it ????. I would eat there again. I chose the Greek salad with the beef and lamb topping and French fries.

One of the most important things is to find food from your own culture. I found this place at my first day in Berkeley. For me they have the closest taste to the original turkish doner in US.

The owner was a cheerful guy and foods (especially wraps) were incredibly tastefully amazingly delicious ????????

Had a full night of work ahead of me and was hungry and tired from the day's work, it was late, I almost went for a top dog next door when I saw Doner n Kabab. The chicken over rice with eggplant stew and french fries, hit the spot. worked non-stop till 4 a.m. and I believe their food helped me be able to do that at ease. Went to bed at 6 a.m. Up at 9:30am for another Hard Day's Work. Only good food can help me do this. I would have gotten the lamb kebabs plate but did not. I like the lamb kebabs to be chunks of lamb put together by the establishment.
