Smokehouse

Smokehouse used to be our go-to burger joint coming up as a child.
Now they serve burgers that are just dry...what happened?!? And be careful with your order; they are often rushing and messed up my order twice my last two visits. Definitely not the same. 3.5 stars max!

Delicious burgers and huge bags of fries at very affordable prices. The beef on the patties are very flavorful. There is some indoor seating plus outdoor patio seating with umbrellas. We came in the middle of winter and it was chilly inside. Highly recommended if you are hungry and looking for a greasy burger!

I love this place. The burgers have a "Maxwell St." flavor that any Chicagoan will recognize if you get grilled onions added. The fries must come from giant potatoes as they are huge. They're perfectly cooked and come out crispy on the outside and creamy within. The portion size on them is definitely shareable, so take that into consideration.

Be aware... massive burger alert. Once you find out how to get your mouth around a corner... you will get blasted with the best burger in the area. I went here with an extremely creditable google (i shouldn't disclose the name) and he said this is the first place we need to go in Berkeley All expectations surpassed!

Fresh burgers,no frills. Customer service great. Food served fast. I would return.
