(December 30, 2018, 7:48 am)Spiciest food that I've had at Berkeley. As an Indian, even other Indian restaurants cannot match the spiciness of the motherland. Thankfully, Thai Basil can help me remember what it feels to taste food. Definitely go here if you want spicy Thai food.
They have mild options as well if you don't like spicy food. -

(December 15, 2018, 9:56 pm)Tasty and cheap. The dish I ordered (forgot exactly what) was a little on the sweet side, but still enjoyable. Be warned about their hot sauce; it is extremely spicy, and I struggled with my dish after putting too much.

(December 5, 2018, 3:14 am)If anyone that I love is making a trip through Berkeley I make them let me live vicariously through them and force them to go here and have a great meal. If they don’t go visit I know that they are trash and I will not be continuing to associate with them. That being said I am here every chance I get when I am home! Thai Basil is an institution for good food!

(November 24, 2018, 4:27 am)Our go to Asian food in Berkeley. Very flavorful, and definitely very fresh. Not five stars simply because there's better Thai food or there, just haven't found it in Berkeley yet.
