MeloMelo Kava Bar

I love this place! Kava is an earthy relaxant that soothes the nerves and quiets the mind. MeloMelo has straight kava, mixed "cocktails", and bowls for sharing. I highly recommend this comfortable and inviting modern style cafe to anyone seeking a new experience or a relaxing afternoon. They also have happy hour!

Host was really good to me for my first experience. Educated me about the tea ☕ then gave me a discount. The tea itself is terrible but makes your lips tingly and you feel sort of buzzed. Wasn't for me but I think they did a great job of setting the mood for a good "trip". Try it!

Way way way better than going to a bar. Friendly people, great conversation, and tasty drinks. Best of all no drunk people. They have clean bathrooms, interesting things on the giant monitor to watch, and you can bring your dog( as long as they are well behaved) I will most definitely be going back. If you are tired of the typical bar scene then I highly suggest you give them a try. The Orange Fox and the Melo Dream are a must order.

This is a great place to for kava or just to hang out. Very relaxed space with great staff and cool customers. I don’t make it to Berkeley often, but I make sure to drop in here anytime I’m in town.

So phenomenal and excellent. Very relaxing yet super great for your mood. I first came during Halloween celebrations. The waiter/waitress staff is superb and everyone provided great service. Everyone is fun and friendly. I'm definitely coming back. I will also be opening up my own excellent Kava Tea Bar where I am in the Mount Shasta area.
