The best Neapolitan pizza in the Bay Area. True thin crust pizza using the best and highest quality ingredients.
The absolute best Neopolitan this side of the Mississippi. That is no joke. Maybe this side of the Atlantic.
Absolutely perfect crust, excellent salt-sweet balance (wish I had a nickel for all the joints that sell you stuff made with too-salty industrial mozzarella--I'd be rich).
Difficult and somewhat annoying to place an order (check out the rules on his website) but once you score you will be glad you went to the trouble. Low-tech operation run by a disciplined guy who often has his charming daughter present doing her homework.
Warms my heart every time I go there, and then when I get home, what a treat! Bottom line, this guy REALLY knows how to cook. His works of art are worth every bit of the money.
It's not always easy to find affordable, super high quality pizza in the Bay Area. But Emilia's is it. Not only is the pizza homemade, but it tastes homemade. Great pizza.
Best pizza in the area. Super fresh ingredients. Olive oil and fresh grated parmesanon on top. Italian/NY style. Call in. Expect a wait. It's worth it.
I'm one of those annoying pizza snobs from out east and I'm very skeptical when desiring to eat pizza in California, that being said, this is the best slice I've had on the west coast. I love other kinds of pizza and NYC isn't even my favorite, but you can't go wrong with perfectly made NYC style. This pie is a commitment to the highest level of beauty to the pizza gods.
