Split pea soup was delicious and rather large! The couscous salad was fresh and pleasantly acidic. The chicken kabob plate was decent, though perhaps a bit overpriced. This place is vegetarian and meat-eater friendly.
This restaurant is a bit further from the main Downtown area but it is definitely worth checking out. All the ingredients are organic and you can really taste the quality of the food. The wraps are very reasonably priced and filling so I strongly recommend them. This is also one of the few places in Berkeley you can get a Turkish coffee.
I actually met and spoke to the owner one time while eating here and he is a very kind down to Earth guy who cares a lot about healthy food and his restaurant reflects that.
Not a top contender for Mediterranean food in my book. It was a good wrap (Jordanian Wrap), but it didn't have anything that stood out enough to warrant another visit.
Will I come back? You know I might if I'm in the area, but not something I would easily crave and go out of my way for.
Very good food: Sort of unsurprising '80s/'90s Arab-inflected hippie fare, plus hippie burritos. Delicious. Not expensive for downtown Berkeley, but thanks to the Downtown Berkeley Association's astronomical commercial rents, that's not saying much.
Great jewel in the concrete jungle, I had the skewer chicken wrap... And It Was..... DELICIOUS!!!!!! if you are looking for healthy... Organic meals... I sure recommend Razan's...prices as appropriate for the servings... They got creative and built a small sitting area on the second floor... Look past some of the inconveniences and ENJOY the view (not the greatest... But good) and the food....
