Musashi

I went to Musashi a long time ago when I was a student at Cal so I was happy it was still there when I was driving through. The food is still just as good as I remember it.

This time around I had the Salmon and Ikura donburi. I love the Uni Ikura dons I get in Hokkaido but this one was good for what I could get back here in the states. The fish was decent and the Ikura was flavorful enough for me. Mix in some miso soup and an order of Ankimo (Monkfish Liver) and I'm a happy customer.

Awesome quality for the price. Got the kara-age, tsukune skewer, chirashi, and a sushi combo. This alone is easily enough for three people.

If you want this amazing food for even cheaper prices, I highly recommend coming during 5:30-7 for happy hour prices.

this isn't just a sushi restaurant it's a roboto grill as well the food is really excellent and quite tasty on a Tuesday night when you're supposed to get less fresh food the food was really top-quality this place is always crowded we go so it was nice to go when the students were all out of town this is a great restaurant and I'd go here more often if it was closer to home

Good sushi, knowledgeable staff. Nice layout. All good. Very nice sake selection. Perfect casual, spot for dinner or lunch.

Very tasty food and good portions. Chicken karaage is delicious. They have a good variety of Japanese dishes. The place gets crowded, but we arrived shortly after they opened and were seated quickly. Very friendly and attentive staff.
