My new favorite ramen spot in Berkeley!!

Its a new opening restaurant in the berkeley area, and its already packed with the crowd. They served many good foods such as ramen, donburi and chirashi at a very affordable price from $10
I specifically order the deluxe ramen that comes with extra egg and meats, at the affordable price range, the ramen surprisIngly taste so good and one of the best I have ever tried. You can also custom the type of the noodle without any extra charge.
The ramen comes in three flavor, tonkotsu, black and red. Go for red if you love spicy and black if you love a strong broth (personally I am)
We also ordered their chirashi bowl which is very fresh lastly we tried the organic matcha they had which named whisk. They have many flavors but our favorite is matcha mango

Alley Kitchens is now open where Pacific Cookie used to be space is about the same decor are japanese with laminated wood counter sits twelve and stand up room right behind it. Ladies should feel somewhat comfortable dining here with purse hook and power outlet right below. This place has two business operated out of here one is Whisk, a organic matcha soft-served dessert and drinks, the other half is kuroki and umidon. The atmosphere is busy and crowded during dinner there's no waiting area students stand right behind people who are seated watching them eat hoping to grab a seat of their own soon. The wait in line is about ten or more deep being that it open recently workers did the best they can to hurried up service, but it is what it is and that's the it is. I don't have nothing against the place being that they want it to be as close to yokocho style as it can be.

I got a strawberry matcha latte on my first visit really good matcha taste not to biting or powdery just perfect and wasn't too sweet had good color and taste. You can literally taste the matcha flavor on every sip straus dairy creamery organic milk made the difference between top-notch ingredients and run-of-the-mill version. Couple of hours pass by I'm craving to go back for dinner and ramen was perfect for tonight. I got the black tonkotsu ramen came in a durable double poly-coated soup bowl added soft boiled egg (extra $1) broth has depth and taste black garlic oil wasn't masking any flavor, in fact it enhance the flavor noodle was good cling well to broth not chewy. Chashu came thinly sliced two pieces pretty tasty and tender not chewy at all. Overall, I can't say that I don't like eating from paper bowl or plastic utensil places because I was caught off guard on how tasty the ramen was and matcha is high grade stuff. You the best of both worlds here under one roof. I'm glad to have try this place hopefully I can try organic soft cream before heading back to sin city not available yet.
