This place is great. The ingredients are high quality and fresh, tastefully seasoned, and prepared quickly by friendly staff. Prices are reasonable too, so please give Mexicans a try. I’m sure you will become a regular customer!

Fantastic food, excellent service, great pricing, simple menu, and friendly staff. What's not to like?

I was walking by when I saw a sidewalk A-frame with MEXICANA shown proudly with arrow pointing to epicurious garden. Then I remembered ABC noticed posted on door not too long ago. With about a week left in bay area until I head back home to vegas I figured why not. MEXICANA bill itself as cal-mex instead of tex-mex similar to Guacamole 61 only cheaper in price everything is under USD$11.50 at most. Not much to say here, it's in the food court walk up order at counter service and grab a seat if available, but remember social-distancing. The two workers in kitchen were really friendly easily struck up a convo with them just seconds of saying hi, but stick to business as usual.

I got a carnitas burrito with spinach tortilla, black beans, cheese, spanish rice and skip guacamole and sour cream (both are extra). I'm sure it will elevate taste, but I just wanted to taste it on the simple side without masking taste. Burrito is tasty and flavorful seasoned carnitas had natural juice with each bite it oozes out from strands of fiber. And every order include chips and a choice of mild, medium, hot salsa. Not bad for food court standards with all things considered like choice of tortilla and 3 toppings (jack cheese by default for everything) if you don't like it, then you are SOL. No cash accepted only credit/debit.
