    Loved the food at Plátano. As a Salvadoran it’s nice to see a restaurant that is dedicated to bringing traditional food to you. Came at lunch time for my father’s birthday to celebrate. Very heavy plates with handmade tortillas. Only issue I had is towards the back of the restaurant it’s a bit dark and not a lot of lights turned on so it gives the restaurant a bit of a gloomy vibe. If more lights were turned on it would be a lot better, but the food is definitely worth it! Hope to come back soon :)

    Excellent service, food and prices! Authentic taste at an affordable price. Best pupusas I've had in the Bay Area.

    1. Cute decor 2. Lovely service 3. Great food: pupusas, tasty steak, great shredded beef with cheese, onions and green bell pepper, plantains, yucca (like fries) 4. Reasonable prices
    5. Nice, lively atmosphere. Go!

    Delicious pupusas! Always a treat to go to with friends. This was my first pupusas and probably one of the best from other experiences.
