This Japanese restaurant is one of the best in the Bay Area. I have so many delicious and creative dishes. I recommend avoiding the crowds by a very early lunch or dinner or a very late lunch. The noise level is beyond my liking. But, the food is so delicious!

Very busy and loud. Great for a get together with friends if you're not in a hurry. Not the ideal place to take a date. It's loud and you won't be able to hear each other clearly unless you speak in a loud tone. Service is ok, but it can take a bit to get to you. If you go, try to go early. Food is excellent!

The sushi is really good here. I’m still trying all the rolls, and there is a good mix between raw fish and fried crustacean. My favorite dish, which I haven’t seen, before is actually their grilled edamame, which is served as generous portion. The prices aren’t cheap but a party of 2 can leave full for around $50.

As for downsides, the restaurant is very popular so you can wait for a while for a seat even on a week night. Also, the space is pretty open so it can be pretty loud.

Used to be the Best Sushi. Been coming here every week, once a week for the past 10 years. Pricing is getting too high. As a regular I used to order special items for me then one night I was told no. I stopped going here. Found somewhere better, as fresh yet cheaper and willing to take care of a regular customer. Great atmosphere but getting too noisy but still great service.

The wait is long but worth the wait. They have sushi and other choices. They have the freshest seafood I have had in the area. This place is the best. I started coming here when they first opened. They are still fantastic several years later. Check them out for yourself.
