Fremont Black Bear Diner

Ambience spacious, food great, service friendly, experience a quite different. A must visit restaurant in Fremont, especially breakfast. Their menu is different, it's like reading morning paper. Food comes as large portion and also includes few sub items. Limited options for vegetarian but anything can be customized with just veggies. Avocado grill is a must try vegetarian dish. New York Steak is good, could be more juicy IMO but their different kinds of pepper sauce compensated it. Coffee is great.

Love this place! Generous portions of food at a decent price ( you'll see almost everyone with a take home box at the end of their meal) and friendly staff. Food is fresh and tasty. Place is kid-friendly too, which is a bonus. Miss going here after we moved away!

Friendly staff, fast service, and lots of good food. The problems here are there's no (obvious?) "Little Less" size for all their menu items, for those times when I can't take the rest home, and their coffee is terrible. But the friendly staff and quality of the food more than make up for it.
