Ono Hawaiian BBQ

I grew up in Honolulu so you could say I've had more plate lunches than the average non Hawaii resident. 3 stars isn't bad as I'd rate most of the Hawaiian BBQ restaurants in Northern California a 2.

Ono Hawaiian BBQ has always been clean (the four or so times I have been here), the service has been good and most importantly the plate lunches have been decent.

The menu is what you would expect. BBQ Chicken, Chicken Katsu, BBQ Mixed Plate, Kalua Pork and a few others. The only thing I'd avoid would be the Island Fire Chicken as it's neither that fiery nor that tasty. The rest is what you'd more or less expect.

If you're in the area and jonsing for Hawaiian BBQ, I'd say visit this place. You could do far worse in the bay area.

Great food, you will not be disappointed. If your wondering what to get just ask the cashier for their recommendation. Their great food combined with their greatly designed restaurant creates a wonderfull experience from Start to finish

This place is simply the king of all Hawaiian BBQ chains. It's easily the best one in the area. The food is always fresh and the meat is usually of a good quality. It is a chain so dont expect restaurant quality food, but it is defiantly above fast food and other Hawiaiin BBQ places. The prices are also decently cheap, and match the quality of the food you get. They also serve you plenty of food so no worries about going hungry here. As for this location the place is always very clean and the staff is very nice. They can sometimes be a little slow, but food takes time to cook so really that isnt there fault; just keep wait time in mind when you visit. The menu is a good size with plenty of choices as well! Overall just a great place to go if you are in the mood for Hawaiian BBQ.

A+ food service and staff! I can actually say Ono Hawaiian is more generous in portions than LL.. another Hawaiian joint. My mom loves the Mac salad so she gets #5 no rice and Ono hooks her up with 3 scoops of Mac! They are definitely not stingy. The restaurant is clean food is awesomely good..sauces are fabulous! And the staff are too cool. I totally recommend!
