The restaurant has pretty large space and clean! Food tastes good and will try again for sure!
Great location near my home so I'm extremely happy! I love porridge with side dishes regardless, but Taiwan Porridge is where I take my dad to enjoy a great selection of refreshing, crunching, flavor dishes next to a warm bowl of comforting porridge with soft yam chunks. Menu has 60 dishes to select from. We usually go for the 3 different choice lunch for each me and my dad, so we get to taste 6 different sides. For first timers, just tell waiter how many in your party, line up to the display of dishes at the front, and just point/say the dish you would like, up to 3-4. A la carte is ok too if you want a full size. If you do t like porridge, steam Rice is on, dine-in or togo.
Some dishes may be a bit greasy, but the Porridge and tea will flush it down. I enjoy the greens and vegetarian elections there. My favorite remains Pork Blood with tofu :D
I ate here on 3.19.2022. I'm not sure what the dishes I ate are called because my friend ordered for me. Feel free to check the photos I attached to this review. I had ground beef, fried fish, cold chicken, cold pork slices, hot pork, eggs and tomatoes, and etc. I'm not familiar with Taiwanese cuisine but I enjoyed my meal greatly. I loved everything except the cold chicken. My favorite was fried fish and ground beef. I would definitely come here again.
Excellent place for quick lunch or dinner as most of the food is ready. A little confusing if you take the lunch special but basically you get a "big" plate and you can choose three items for 12 dollars. As opposed to ordering each item separately for 6-9 dollars each. With the plate you get smaller portion of each item but overall you likely get more and you have more variety
Great taste of food but tired cashiers. Customers are pushed to make decision at seconds, if not, will be asked: Anymore? Anymore?
