    Sandwiches at Ike’s are always good. But the sandwiches aren’t that big and they are pricey. This Ike’s just opened as of this posting so lines are still long and we had to wait 30 minutes for our sandwich. The space isn’t very big so it can get crowded. There are only about 8ish small tables and not a lot of space to wait in line. I’m sure the lines will die down significantly after a few months.

    It’s in the same plaza as the Starbucks right next to the Costco gas station. Plenty of parking available in the lot so no worries on that end.

    Overall, it’s great to see an Ike’s in Hayward. We need more solid place like this to eat!

    Finally an Ike’s in the area :) service is a little slow but the location and sandwiches are great! Located in Eden Shores next to Costco so expect this area to be very crowded. I highly recommended the “Matt Cain” and will try the Haywood Special (Chicken fried steak) next time :) enjoy!

    The classic sandwich shop is now open! The best sandwiches in the bay area. Good service, only a few tables inside however.
