The Original Mels

A 50's themed diner featuring table-side jukeboxes and lots of throwback decor. They are known for their burgers and shakes (I recommend the chocolate banana) but they also make a mean grilled cheese with bacon and tomato. I've always had excellent service although sometimes the food can take a bit of time before it's served. Overall, not a bad diner.

Best visit to this place so far. In the past we had some slow service but tonight was good. We decided to give it another try since we got a coupon in the mail. Both burgers came out well and the fries were tasty.
Still wonder if I should have gotten the Hangover, I love breakfast for dinner!

Good food, good prices and it's my mom's favorite place. The atmosphere is comfortable and the staff was nice though at the end I felt a bit rushed to leave. Maybe they wanted our table for more guests but it kept me from giving them five stars.

Food is good and most prices are what they should be. I will say the quality is a bit inconsistent, and there are times you contemplate the cleanliness of the establishment... But usually it's fun and enjoyable

Great Service from server Julie. She was the only serve. There was a few other employees just walking around doing nothing. Julie was very polite, quick, and was very attentive to all the patrons. 5 * because of her and the food was great too!!
