Casa Orozco - Livermore

This place has pretty good 5-star Mexican food which is brought down by the lackluster service. It’s not that they are bad or rude in any way - to the contrary, they are exceptionally nice wait staff. Unfortunately, I am pretty sure that in an effort to save money the place is understaffed, so be ready for a wait, especially if you are here at prime time. The place is also a bit pricey on their favorites, with 20$ for some of the plates being the norm. A simple one meat burrito runs about 9.75$. It is kid-friendly with a separate kids menu and crayons for them to draw with.
The atmosphere is very nice with a Spanish-style building and courtyard. There are heaters outside for those chilly livermore evenings, and windows that can be opened wide or closed to ward off the breeze. The interior is very pretty, a good place to have a family dinner if you aren’t in a hurry and don’t mind spending a bit more money.
Not a bad place, just a few flaws that would be pretty easy to fix.

Sometimes you need a delicious burrito. All the times you can find them at Casa Orozco. 13 years since we ate here last (relocated out of state) and we returned to excellent food and service. Would highly recommend for anyone considering eating here - you really won't be disappointed.

Amazing food, amazing service! Went on St. Patrick's day and was delightfully surprised that we weren't brushed off like you are on busy holidays.

As always the food and atmosphere was amazing! Our server was attentive and timely and took great care of us! I look forward to our next visit.

I love both Casa Orozco in Livermore and Dublin. The food is consistently delicious. My favorite are the shrimp enchiladas. They never disappoint. My dad had the Ahi Tuns tacos and his were delicious as well. Will go back again and again!
