The mac and cheese was amazing so was the i believe vegan chilli and corn bread.
First thing I noticed was that it smelled new. Not in an intoxicating way. But, a comfortable way. I was glad I picked this place. I was there for lunch and had the black forest ham sandwich. It was good. Nothing mind-blowing but, I thought it was enjoyable. For dessert I had the bread pudding with whip cream, so good! To drink I had Far West cider which is now my favorite cider. I feel like they found the balance between sweet and tart. I definitely want to try this place for dinner as well.
This is a really sweet place for lunch. I noticed a lot of people were there for work meetings. You can order at the counter and take out or dine in. I had a delicious sandwich and a glass of wine and thought it was a good value.
I needed to get lunch before my next appointment and I was in The Laurel neighborhood. I google mapped restaurants and Communitē Table came up. This place is casual, the staff is friendly and helpful. I ordered the special of the day, a jambalaya, and a glass of wine. Both were delicious. The jambalaya was a hearty serving and came with a warm piece of corn bread. There were many choices on the menu that appealed. And good pricing. I definitely will be returning.
A little bit if wait, but understandable given the space and restaurant week. But foodwise everything is excellent! Even Mom loves it which is rare given how picky she is.
