Great food! Great ambience, friendly and impeccable service. Will be back.
Everything here is amazing, crafted by amazing chefs and the service is super friendly and knowlegable. Should be on every real food enthusiast's list!
Each time I come here I'm impressed with the all-from-scratch dishes Dopo delivers. Pleasantly lacking in the 'we are upper-class' feeling to many restaurants have. Great place to meet with friends or family or business meetings.
Authentic Italian cuisine prepared with the best ingredients and served in a casual setting. Truly special dishes and outstanding wine pairings, fabulous deserts. Highly recommended for both lunch and dinner.
Tasty food with a number of Sicilian dishes. Two of us turned up for a quick dinner before a show nearby and they had a few seats at the bar which we gladly took. The servers were knowledgeable about the dishes we asked about and also recommended against the pizza only because we were in a hurry. (Apparently they can only bake 4 at a time and they had a full house that night). The pizza looked good though, if a bit smallish for the price.
Got a few of their house made pasta dishes, a side dish of melon, and a single glass of sparkling wine. All were delicious. Pasta was properly cooked. Presentation was done well. Timing was good for a busy night. The wine list was a manageable size with Sicily well represented.
The negatives? The main dishes we had (and also saw brought to other tables) were rather small for the price. I mean, $20+ for a small plate of vegetarian pasta is a bit much, even when fresh and even at bay area prices. Also the smallest wine glass I've ever seen.
Can't knock the quality or the service, just wish the portions were a bit more substantial for the price. With tax and tip on our two pasta dishes, side dish and glass of wine, our total came to about $85. That *really* made me miss Sicily.
Worth checking out if you're looking for quality Italian food at a rather premium price. Try the Sicilian dishes for a delicious intro to some Sicilian staples (then travel to Sicily yourself someday to try them in the motherland).
