    Love love love Wood Tavern. The hospitality is warm and friendly. The environment is unpretentious and beautiful. The food, oh the food, is delicious. Every bite. Get lots of different dishes to share, if you're sharers, so you can taste more things. The wine list is excellent and reasonably priced. Really, go to Wood Tavern if you're in Oakland. Make a reservation.

    This is the spot you want to go to for a date night or lunch with friends. There is always a great selection of menu items and their salads are to-die-for. Such great flavor paired with a nice wine selection, how could you go wrong?! I like to go for the meats/cheese appetizers and wine.

    Really, this is one of the best places to eat in the East Bay. The food is consistently of the highest quality and the portions are generous. The wait staff are good folk and many have been here for a long time. And lordly, have I mentioned the pork chop yet? I don't even LIKE pork chops but this is the perfect meal for two, and it's done to perfection- utter Bliss!!!!! Thank you Wood Tavern.

    Wood tavern is always on point and I have never been disappointed since day one. The staff, the farm to table food and craft cocktails, the wonderful owners and the ambiance - always so incredibly cozy and comfortable. Plan to be here for at least 2 hours to enjoy your friends and family in a nice relaxing way!

    I had a great time in Wood Tavern. Staff are so nice. Great food. It was a great Super bowl party everyone so friendly. A must when in OAKLAND
