Slow service but nice Nigerian cousines

The food was was good, and the waitress was friendly. I only give 3 stars due to lack of some key items listed on the menu that were missing Our group arrived on a Sunday afternoon around lunchtime. We ordered goat, only to be told they were out of goat. I ordered red wine, also was told they were out. And then my daughter was told they were out of strawberry lemonade. I think a reputable restaurant should be well-stocked in certain items at such a key, high traffic time of day, especially a weekend.
I was also put off by the dirty restroom. The sink needed a good scrubbing, and they were out of hand soap.
This was my first time at this restaurant, and first impressions are very important to me. Perhaps a second trip might be better.

Second Visit: Visited this restaurant and had a good experience. I'm moving my initial rating from 1 star to 4 star.

First Visit: Restaurant wasn't open at 8:45am even though it states that it's open at 8:30am to 8:30pm on Sundays. It would be helpful to customers if the hours are correct.

Afrocentric restaurant. Serves West African and particularly, Nigerian dishes. Ambient nice environment although furnishing needs update. All in all, food is delicious and portion size is not bad. Pricing is not bad as well.

Enjoyed the combo dish offered during the Laurel street festival. Given only chicken even though there was supposed to be fish too, I would have liked both. Bell pepper sauce was spicy, I was told habanero in it.
