    This was my first time having Indian cuisine in Alameda. The staff was friendly, place was clean, and with quick service. The host effortlessly catered to the 10 of us. The food. It was as enjoyed by everyone even with talk of returning. Flavors were good but not intense, but just enough where your taste buds are asking for more. Portions are so that each in a group could order something and everyone in the group would be more than full. Plus endless good tasting unsweetened chai.

    Absolutely excellent. Besides being incredibly friendly, their curries are hearty without being greasy, and generous of on the herbs (spicy or otherwise) Seriously, the flavor is full-bodied and balanced.

    They have self-serve chai that is also quite nice. Very calming and welcoming atmosphere.

    Big fan of this place! Their curries are tasty, can be spiced to order (I dig very spicy curries), and not overly greasy (which is what I usually encounter at most places). Their samosas are also perfectly fried. I will be back.
