This is one of the best restaurants, if not the best restaurant in Oakland. The food is unique in presentation as well as deliciousness. The service is outstanding and the wine list is extraordinary. I highly recommend this restaurant for an unforgettable dining experience.

Food was good, service was impressive. Wr sat at the chef's table, no interaction at all with the chef, he appeared aloof. The heat was on very high, it ruined my dinner. We asked twice to lower the heat but it wasn't lowered.

This place fully deserves its Michelin star. Sit at the bar if possible (couple's only) to see the dishes being played and interact with the cooks. Custom cocktails are some of the tastiest I've ever tried. Not cheap but well worth the price for a special occasion. I would not recommend this place for vegetarians, however. It's the meat and seafood dishes that are the best.

Food was amazing, the service at pair with the food the drinks at the bar next door super yummy and the pairing for the dinner super interesting.

There were just two things worth pointing out, I shared some dietary restrictions beforehand and by mistake they got mixed up in one course, I got what should have been or the other party. Not so bad in my case but if I would have been allergic could have escalated.

I seated by the window due to privacy as requested because it was my anniversary but I found the area a bit too cold, and the last thing is that there was a fly roaming around, I did not get close to the food but was a bit disturbing seeing it there.

Overall the experience was satisfactory but wanted to point out these things as I believe they aim for perfection and hopefully this review will help them improve even more.

I would definitely go back.

P.S. Expect to spend around 1k for 2 guests if you have the 8+ course meal with pairing and you have drinks as well.

The experience was incredible. Our table was a bit hidden away which made it slightly awkward to not truly be in the restaurant. But the staff was very impressive and the food delicious.
