Food is always good here. On the second or third Sunday they do a Dominican inspired brunch which is great and play Latinx music so it's a fun time. :)
Great food. Fun and friendly staff. Not a fancy place but unique and interesting. One of our family favorites!
Fast casual dining dine really well. Good idea is to arrive early. Grab a drink and just enjoy yourself. The seafood is fresh and the sauces are great. My favorites are the Romesco sauce and the Curry sauce. Do not miss out on the meat items either! The Oxtails are some of the best in the area.
The staff and food are absolutely amazing. We hosted a holiday party here and could not have asked for a better night! Whether it's dinner, their amazing brunch, or best lunch poke bowls in uptown, you can't go wrong with Ala Mar!
First time visiting this place but surely, not the last time! It was delicious. I had the king crab boil with corn! It was divine. Everything was seasoned just right and the chef was kind enough to bring us out an extra plate of plantains. My wife ordered the shrimp boil and for appetizers, we had the plantains and tater tots. I mean, who can go wrong with tater tots!
One thing to note is that we went on Sunday for brunch. It was kind of busy so it meant that we waited in line for a bit but it was totally worth it!
