817 know's how to poach an egg! Perfect every time! The hot chocolate is a must have on a cold February morning. Rich but not to sweet!

Reliably good breakfast with a solid and creative if small menu and good coffee drinks. The space is a bit small and cramped but it has a nice vibe. On warm days, it's nice to sit at one of the outdoor tables.

I went there this morning with my daughter for breakfast. She knew about it as she is young and hip and well whatever. Definitely a place for young hip people. An old man like me is not warmly received but then that is the world we are living in. I actually heard a 30 something guy say "yeah Tahoe is cool if you like old people". I though wow I pity his parents. Anyway back to cafe 318. Food was okay but not spectacular. The cappuccino was cool when it arrived. The service at the counter seemed warm and friendly for people before me and after me but when I ordered I might as well have been in a walk in freezer. My daughter says not to take it so personally so I will let you decide for yourself.

Cute coffeeshop and cafe. Everything I've eaten there has been great. Chill atmosphere, nice staff. There's outdoor seating available and interesting, oval tables indoors.
