A proud Oakland cafe, serving really great food by awesome staff in a space conducive to pro-grade cafe life! They even have a nice balance of space for laptops and for people unmediated by tech.

I've been coming here since they opened. The coffee is solid. The food is delicious. They serve beer, wine, kombucha and an assortment of loose leaf teas. I enjoy sitting outside during golden hour or on a quiet, sunny day. It can get busy; seating isn't always available.

Wish they had more gluten free options. The granola was great and the salads were huge! But the pastry station is where you want to look. There's a fresh fritata loaded with veggies and cheese, or a crispy croissant you can turn into a breakfast sandwich.

The coffee was delicious and had sustainable straws for those iced lovers. You can stay and eat or grab something Togo from their refrigerated area.

Located just a block from Lake Merritt, this bi-level, community minded coffeehouse serves up a great up of coffee and bakery items along with a selection of light meals. This place serves as a popular gathering spot for locals, in a clean, contemporary space. The modern Italian style, with the brightly lit space, speaks of a warmth that just makes you want to sit back and relax while having your coffee. Friendly staff, prompt service, and reasonably priced, would recommend to anyone in the area.

Fantastic place for food, good vibes and a great cup of black coffee! I got the tuna melt and it was delicious. I didn’t feel to hungry but after one bite, I devoured the rest of the sandwich! Great spot to get some work done and enjoy the atmosphere. The service was professional, friendly and the employees were as unique as Oakland.
