(April 1, 2023, 2:17 am)A great new local's spot in the old Barlago space on Grand Avenue overlooking Lake Merritt in Adam's Point neighborhood. Outdoor seating for those with dogs and continuing concerns regarding Covid. The Mexican cuisine is excellent as are the specialty cocktails. My favorite beer on tap is the Fuerza Lager. Friday evenings with renown World Music DJ Jose Ruiz is going to create a meetup scene unlike any currently offered on the Lake. I'm a big fan!

(May 29, 2022, 9:28 pm)The carnitas and el pastor were good enough to make me want to try the chicken and beef barbacoa. All four tasted pretty similar. Fresh ingredients and satisfying, but not exciting enough to want to come back for at least a month or two.
