I love this place! They have a variety of tasty dim sum and pastries. I been going to this Tao Yuen since I was a child. They've been consistent with their flavors and menu items.

After all these months, finally got my Dim Sum fix at Tao Yuen pastry. Prices have gone up but food is still tummy. Lines are shorter and obviously masks & social distancing are mandatory. Don't be shocked, most of Oakland Chinatown and Downtown are still boarded up from the Black Lives protest. Looks like a war zone and some businesses seem permanently closed. While I want to support them, frankly between the parking hassle and the increased price, I'd rather get a piping hot dish from my local Chinese restaurant that has curbside pickup.

Best grab and go dim sum in the bay area. Highly reccommend getting the pork chops and crispy shrimp dumplings. CASH ONLY

Excellent food, always a line. They continue to make more throughout the day so it is always fresh. Very cheap prices. Best chow fun I've had.

If you're into Chinese fast food, this should be on your top 3 place to visit in Oalkand. The food is freshly made and the price is very reasonable. There's no table to sit down to enjoy your food so this is strictly a takeout place. Most items are good, a little oily just what to expect from Chinese fast foods. Steamed, fried, baked...so my to choose from. You will find yourself to comeback.
