(November 2, 2019, 4:37 am)Finally, a good neighborhood sashimi spot in the East Bay! Sure we have Kakui and Kotobuki but one's overpriced and the other is average at best. Iyasare's my go-to chirashi don and tempura, but now this is my go-to for sashimi.
We had dinner on a busy Saturday night the newly re-opened TGI Oni Sushi, and loved it so much I came back for lunch on Tuesday (photos from lunch). Fresh sashimi, good sized menu, reasonably priced, friendly staff. We had hamachi sashimi (5 pcs for $15), chawamushi, shishamo, saba shioyaki and complimentary miso soup. Hopefully they'll keep up these standards! -

(September 1, 2019, 3:49 am)Awesome Sushi place. Amazing service and great atmosphere. If you're in the area its a great place for dinner, and if you're not it's worth the trip.
