Umami Express

I got the smoothie, a side of steamed veggies and a tofu bowl and not only were all three clearly made with high quality, organic ingredients, but they were absolutely delicious. 10/10. But what impressed me even more than the food tonight was the thoughtfulness of the gentleman working. They closed at 11:30 pm (bless them for being the only vegan, organic food in the area open that late) and was cutting it close to get there before closing time. When I arrived 1 or 2 minutes after 11:30, I was worried that I had missed my opportunity and screwed up, but no - a thoughtful young man was literally standing in front of the restaurant with my order, waiting for me. He definitely didn’t have to do that - service is way above and beyond - 20/10! That wonderful young man saved me after I hadn’t eaten all day and couldn’t find anything vegan open late, I’m so grateful.

My company gets food delivered from here on the regular and I always get so excited to try all of their delicious lunch options. Everything tastes so fresh, healthy combinations and bright flavors. You can't go wrong with anything!

If I were to have a checklist of the meal I’d want to marry, this checked off my boxes.

I cannot praise how much this hit the spot. Fresh ingredients and quickly made. Ordered the organic Tofu Greens Bowl, added tofu, avocado with a garlic sesame soy sauce dressing. 🤌🏾

Super fresh ingredients! Had the Chicken Greens bowl with extra Wagyu.
- cabbage was crunchy and had no “dirt taste”
- water chestnut had wonderful texture without that sour turnip-like smell
- sauce complimented the greens bowl perfectly

The taste profile is on the lighter side despite even having the chili oil and lemon garlic dressing — but everything is balanced and fresh.

I feel healthy even after eating the wagyu beef.
