Yimm Oakland

Loved it ! Fantastic pumpkin curry and avocado green curry. Everything tastes super fresh and well spiced. Papaya salad was also top notch.

Nice decor, four of us judged the food good but not special. Three vegan choices.

Not as good as its sister restaurant Imm Street Food on University but this is upscale. The fried pumpkin is still excellent. I had the duck soup which has a lot of duck on the bottom so scoop down for that. Duck is all dark meat which went well with the dish's broth.

Delicious! We had the fried oyster, mushroom and avocado starter; sweet fish and the corn salad has a kick). Everything was fresh and very good. Service was great too. We will definitely go back.

Really enjoyed this meal. Dining room is open and spacious and the little details are well designed, down to the dishware. The food was uniformly good with a couple of dishes being outstanding -- the curry and the string beans in particular. We ordered vegetarian and a bit milder than we normally would due to eating with small children, but that didn't prevent us from cruising into flavor country. Looking forward to going back and ordering more off of the "grandma's cooking" section of the menu where they showcase their family recipes.

Love having Yimm's in the neighborhood. It's our new favorite for Thai food with fresh, well prepared dishes and clean modern decor. We almost always get the pad see ew and like how they do it with a nice mix of Chinese broccoli.
