“This place is by far the best Seafood place I’ve had in awhile. I ordered the fried chicken wings, prawns and fries right before a meeting and it was so good I couldn’t put the food down. The chicken was juicy and prawns fried to perfection. It was truly comfort food. I was nodding off after I ate it, a little embarrassing but worth the taste. “Neighborhood might be a bit sketch for some folks but don't let it deter you!! The food and service was great! I only found this place because of some credit card survey, otherwise I might not have found this gem. Had a chicken fried chicken dog which was delicious. Bun had an excellent density; not as heavy as pretzel buns but still soft. The dog itself was crispy and the slaw on top was a great, slightly spicy, compliment to the savory. The dogyard in the back is something you'd find in Uptown with the wooden walls, patio seating, and backyard decor. They also have space heaters! Staff was super nice as well. Would definitely come back.”

A wonderful variety of dishes from chicken, beef, lamb, shawarma, gyro and gyro plates, tandoori, kabobs (combo and triple!), a cardamom dessert called ferni, mango lasso drinks, and more! I am in Love with their dish called, "Mantu", dumplings like you've never had before! Beautiful, kind hearted people. Once you get to know the owners, you feel like family! I'm going back tonight!”

“Good halal burgers. Very good Afghan food. More affordable than other places that sell the same food. Kind owners who will let you make salat in the back. I have had the burger, fries, Philly cheese steak, eggplant and cauliflower here. I think all the food is pretty good quality. It is probably my favorite place to get a halal burger (along with Bongo Burger's lamb burger). If you are going for atmosphere, the place has a typical East Oakland burger joint feel, which means it's not fancy but it's comfortable and familiar feeling. I love the owners, who inconvenienced themselves to allow me to pray in their storage room with their prayer rug. You can also easily make a big table for a lot of people with no problem.”

The location is a bit sketchy (I came there late in the evening and was surprised to find this restuarant in such a place where there is bunch of automotive shops and other businesses), but did not feel any danger, etc... The place it self is not an elegant or fancy place, but it has a small town mom and pop shop feeling and I personally tought it was very unique experience. I loved the food and my experience was good. I would have given 5 stars, but because of the location, I figured 4 stars might be more appropriate.”
