Backyard Bayou

Wonderful experience here! Great food. Phenomenal service. (Literally some of the coolest staff I have met out and about in the Bay Area). They give SO much food that it was almost unbearable haha. The only thing I’d like to see is a reasonable kids menu. I hate to give my 45lb son more food than he can eat or have to share mine... because a girls gotta eat. But, I settled with getting him the crab bowl and he loved it. :) So, parents, hopefully that’s a helpful hint!

Almost authentic Cajun food. Tried the gumbo and jambalaya but ended up with blackened salmon. A for effort!

Giving 5 stars for the wait staff. Maria and her peers were wonderful and made me feel at home. It's very rare to find service like this. Go have some seafood!

I enjoyed eating here, the food was delicious and full of flavor. Our server did mess up on our order and waited a pretty long time. He was apologetic and replaced it for us.

Havent been here recently but passed by. Looks like they will have outdoor seating. New black iron enclosure is installed in the front. In the evening you will get the sun setting on you if outside. Bring your sunglasses and dress for the appropriate weather hot or cold. Hopefully they will have umbrella shades out there. The food is very good if you know Louisiana Bayou style food.

First time here and it was pretty good. I got a shrimp rice bowl. I was expecting maybe 4 pieces of shrimp, but I was surprised that they gave me a lot. The garlic fries were really good too. They were playing good music while we were eating. The customer service was great. Overall, it is a really great place to go have a drink and eat some seafood.
