Morning Thunder Cafe

Great food, great and polite wait staff with fast service. If you want a nice breakfast place I would definitely recommend going to Morning Thunder. Can get a bit busy at times but I've never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for a table to open up

I travel and I'm always looking for different places than the norm. I like to find the "mom and pop" cafes for breakfast.
I'm being over critical on this because it's a pet peeve.
Service was top notch.
I had the sourdough French toast combo. All of it was excellent. Scrambled eggs were done, bacon was actually cooked, the French toast with poppy seeds was great. My only issue was the butter... (yes... I love a lot of butter on my French toast and pancakes)... it wasn't frozen ... but very hard. It takes a long time to melt and in the process cools off the FT or pancakes. Serve soft butter with FT and pancakes!!!
Aside from that... outstanding !
I hope I get back to this area again. I'll be back.

Solid country fried steak here. Crispy but not all breading and the gravy was flavorful and thick without being over bearing. The biscuits at fresh and delectable. Try this place out and you won't be disappointed. The plates are huge and that's not a bad thing because I couldn't wait for lunch to eat my leftovers.

Absolutely delicious chipotle and cheddar burger (which is Thursday's Gourmet Burger of the Day) with fantastic garlic fries. Service was prompt and friendly even though we were there right at lunch time. This burger is among my top 3 of all time, I loved it! If I were local I would totally come back here on another Thursday.
