The best cafe in all of Chico. Have constantly been here and would say it's the perfect environment for studying, hanging out, and dates. Their food and drink choices are top tier while their service is just as good as well. They also have a roof accommodation which reminds me of San Francisco cafes. Though it can be expensive at times, I believe their quality balances out with it quite well.
Loved the atmosphere! There were ten of us and found a table right away, as the place is several floors. You can sit inside or out. Food was very good. Our favorite was the avocado toast. Highly recommend going there for the Chico experience!
It's a really neat Three Story Coffee Shop great for study, work, or visiting. The staff is great. The rooftop portion is wonderful and they do events like music say on weekends, and their hours are great Thursday through Saturday til 9 PM. The espresso drinks and the roast of the coffee are great; plus the kitchen puts out really gourmet unique options. Altogether, it's really beautiful. An average drink is going to cost you between $4-6.50, and they have some meal options for as low as maybe $8.95 like gourmet toasts. They're bigger plate lunch selections tend to be around $16 a plate and when they serve dinners they can be around $20-25. They also will do wine and other beverage options I believe.
Seriously one of the coolest places in Chico and brings a youthful and modern vibe the city has been lacking for a while. I love the layout. The avocado toast and honey lavender latte were wonderful. Only rating 4 stars because the service was a little lackluster. The pager we were given went off fairly quickly after we had gotten to the top floor and sat down, only to walk back down and find out our order was not in fact ready. I believe we got another customers pager by accident because their food was ready but when asked for a pager they claimed they were not given one. We waited, that was fine, things happen. But the people working the counter were very unattentive. Almost accusatory with the other customers who did not have a pager, and did not acknowledge us standing there probably appearing very confused for a few minutes. Eventually they walked over and grabbed the pager and said it would be just a few minutes. A few minutes later and my toast was sitting at the order window taunting me but the person "distributing" the orders was very distracted and if my toast was a snake it might have bit her. Anyways, eventually we got our hands on the food and it was well worth the wait. And at least I got my steps in climbing the stairs multiple times. Elevators freak me out. Good to see that they have them though, very accessible. Will definitely give it another shot!
This place is amazing. My wife and I were in town for a wedding a few months back and we literally went here 3 times in one day - morning coffee, lunch, and a quick snack before we hit the road. Amazing design, food, and everyone there was so kind and helpful. If we lived locally this would definitely be an every-day spot!
