Tom Tom's Island Style

A long overdue review, but TomTom's is one of three places in Chico I trust for sushi (Raw Bar and iFish being the other two 🤗), let alone actually good food! I've only been a fan since September, but oh my goodness, the first time was enough to have me hooked for the rest of my life.

When I first tried the sushi, I was impressed with how quality and delicious it was. When I tried the lumpia, I was missing my ates back home! But when I tried the beef stirfry with red rice?? Y'all, no joke, I cried. This was the seasoned food my transplant ahh had been searching all of Chico for over two years.

I have since passionately directed people to TomTom's - with those folks coming back to thank me for the suggestion - and actively just miss TomTom's due to my shift running late or them (rightfully) selling out. If you have the opportunity, get what and when you can! Try it all, as it's all amazing!!

This was hands down, without a doubt the best sushi I've ever had. The coco Loco roll was my favorite. The hibachi was the first time I've had hibachi that I actually liked. I will definitely be becoming a regular as long they keep the late hours some days!

Tom Tom’s is a breath of fresh air. The sushi is delicious and the hot plates are beyond compare. My favorite dish is the Hibachi Chicken plate. Their seasoned rice is a must have, the flavor is unlike anything else in Chico and I find myself searching for every last grain of rice when I’m done. I hope that this place is the next biggest thing for the Chico scene, even if it means a longer wait, these guys deserve the hype!

I would give this place a million stars. Im a sushi brat and this is hands down the best sushi you will get in town. The portions are crazy big and I cannot even begin to describe how good everything was. I got a special roll and a basic roll and the quality and care of each item was way beyond expectations. New favorite food truck and sushi!
