    We had our daughters wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was terrific. Food was delicious and everyone got to choose from a nice variety of food. Keep it on your short list of places for your special occasions.
    Have eaten here on a number of times as we have a cabin in the area and its always good.
    The servers and staff did a nice job keeping drinks topped off and flowing. Food took a while but it was worth the wait. My steak fillet I ordered medium and it was cooked to perfection. The wife had the prime rib and it to was a perfect medium.
    Impressive wine list to choose from. Great old bar, historic hotel, indoor seating and very nice patio eating.
    Come for a drink and see for yourself.

    Parker and Patrick are the most professional servers I have ever had in a restaurant! Their knowledge and their service was incredible! They should be working in a bigger city!

    The Murphy’s historic hotel should be on your list of places to visit while exploring gold country. Stop by and take the tour. They have a room preserved upstairs with a rich history from historic visitors. Give the dining room try. It’s a wonderful small town experience. The staff is very friendly. It’s a fascinating part of California’s history. You will enjoy the historic ambience.
