Mariscos Acuario Seafood and Grill

Only came for a drink and dessert. Drink wasn't to good, cheesecake was the only dessert. Name of restaurant threw me off when I looked at the menu.

Our 2nd visit since the new management found us disappointed. The tortilla chips were store bought with flax seeds. I ordered the wet fried tilapia tacos. I received three pieces of overpriced tilapia on one corn tortilla. The corn tortilla was not heated properly. Because of that, the hot fish sitting on top created a limp texture to it.
The sweet and sour shrimp tostada was good. However it was not really a tostada. The tostada was hidden underneath the ceviche liquid and became soggy.
The same happened with the fish ceviche tostada. If you order it and want to eat as a tostada rather than a salad, ask for the tostada to be separated.
We ordered the beans. They were unseasoned but served with cotija, which added the much needed saltiness.
The guacamole was delicious, but not really fun to eat with the bad tortilla chips.
The person who brought our chips was not friendly. When we smiled and said thank you there was no connection and no resonse.
Unfortunately we will not be returning.
We will not be returning.

Great food!! Seafood was fresh and tasty. I like that u get to put your own toppings on your tacos!

Enjoyed a nice dinner with the hubby. The bartender surprised me with a jalapeno margarita. Too bad I'm a wimp. Perfect Friday night dinner. Great food, relaxing atmosphere and very reasonably price.
