Great little cafe with farm fresh food. Lots of your typical breakfast items but also trendy items like chicken and waffles, with apricot aioli. Expressos, bloody Mary's and Mimosas. Worth the drive.

Had the Byron burger with Peper Jack and bacon. Definitely one of the best burgers I have had. Drips all over the place which is always a good sign. Could do just a little better on the pricing and I would come more often and bring the whole family.

The food!! The food!!! I was completely blown away. I wanted to try a nice Lil mom-&-pop spot and ran across Byron Inn Cafe after my first skydiving adventure (bucket list... Check). Excellent service. Amazingly good food. Very creative with the dishes and flavors. Will be going back!

A nice, quaint little place off Byron highway. Despite having lived in the area for quite a while, this was the first time we came here. The owner has had a bit of a reputation for being fiery on social media (which I can understand given he is extremely proud of his business.). This place was also on Diner’s, drive ins and dives, which has brought a lot of people in.
It has a nice atmosphere but is small inside - expect to wait on the weekend. They don’t accept reservations ahead of time. The service was very good, without much delay from the time we were seated until ordering coffee and food. They were nice, too, and we appreciated that.
Now, on to the food. Before I go into that, the coffee was great - almost had the mellow flavor of nitro coffee from Starbucks (actually found out it’s “Farmer’s Brothers” - great choice!). It’s an endless cup, and they do have to-go cups when you leave. For the food, we got the corned beef hash and the huevos rancheros. The portion sizes are frighteningly large and will definitely satiate you. The corned beef hash had large chunks of corned beef, which is made here at the site. The potatoes are perfectly done, and there is not a lot of spicing since it’s not necessary. I can understand why this is one of the more expensive items on the menus. The huevos rancheros was THICK. It wasn’t as strongly flavored, and the second tortilla inside wasn’t as liked by my wife because it kept the carnitas from mixing with the chili, but she still thought it was well above average, and extremely tasty despite that issue. Her favorite part was the chili, which is homemade on the spot also. The biscuit was super light and fluffy, reminded me of growing up in the south. I can only imagine how ridiculously great their biscuits and gravy must be.
Considering how close it is, along with how great the menu is, we will definitely be coming back - and with the skill and dedication to taste exhibited by this chef, we also plan to visit his more dinner oriented location in discovery bay soon. Well done!

Came in for breakfast with my wife this morning. I had the homemade corned beef hash and she had the biscuits and gravy. Food is absolutely phenomenal. You can tell care has been taken to prepare every plate. Service was some of the best that we have experienced a very long time. This is a must visit for anyone in the local area or visiting. It's even worth a drive from the bay area just to visit this little tiny diner on the side of the road.
