Great food and great service

Mercado Del Sol is one of our favorite places in Concord.
It's super clean, well lit, with an open kitchen behind the counter.
Order at the counter, your food is brought to you when it is ready.
My favorite items are the carne asada or pescado tacos.
Their sopes are among the best!. I also ask for whole beans as I find refried beans too salty.
The enchiladas are not like the sauce and cheese drenched ones you get elsewhere, they are simple corn tortillas that have been soaked in a delicious red sauce, filled then folded in half and garnished with crumbly cheese and guacamole. Wonderful!
You can also get heartier fare such as chicken and ribs as a dinner, or buy by the pound to take home.
Friendly prompt service, and interesting menu keep us coming back again and again!

If you want authentic Mexican food , Micahacanh style, this is the great place.
I live in Danville and I go to this restaurant for the food and extremely reasonable prices. The atmosphere is not fancy and mostly caters to Hispanics.But very clean and the service is excellent. I hate that its in Concord and not closer to Danville.

Soft, tender, juicy Rotisserie chicken just the way I like it and I got it here. The portion of chicken I got for my combo plate was huge, I had to bring the rest home. The lady who took my order had a friendly smile and even checked up on me half way through my dinner. Now I know where to stop by to eat when I'm in this area.
