Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que

When it comes to BBQ, it's pretty hard to find a place that serves up some real lip- smackin chow in California. Unfortunately, this place won't make the list either. Beef ribs were tough, pulled pork was chewy with no flavor and a very displeasing sauce on top. The baby back ribs were small and burnt!! The southern platter was a -2 due to the plain fried green tomatoes and semi soggy fried okra. But overall, the okra was good just plain, cut in the perfect size pieces too.

The chicken n 2 meat platter was great! Just be sure to get the bacon cheddar sausages. Sides were heavenly and hearty. The greens, potato salad, mashed potatoes all a plus 10.

The pinned motto of "southern hospitality " displayed on the windows is a sheer understatement to say the least. Service was above and beyond hospitable...the server Brandy was amazing and the manager was very dedicated and thoughtful towards all the food blunders we were experiencing. The last straw unfortunately, was dessert! I got a microwaved carrot cake that look down right decrepit that it was gut-wrenching funny and helped to end our night with lots of smiles and laughter.

I would definitely go back and enjoy the sausage trio, some sides. Good atmosphere and music and delicious bbq sauces (set up on the table).along with real 5-star customer service.

Lucille's Smokehouse is one of several in the chain. The menu has wonderful variety. The service is pleasant and prompt. We find the servers return to the table often enough to assure that we are happy, and well fed.

The Staff and Management were very friendly, the food was really good. Just a heads up the fried pickles were in spears, not chips. you are going to need to cut them and let them cool a little first. And the breading falls off. I Ordered the bacon mac and cheese and it was delicious, come here on an empty stomach.

Very friendly service. Great biscuits & apple butter!! Tried 4 different meats and I think the chicken was the star, but all were good. Cooked slaw side was good, but the Mac & cheese was a bit dry. Would definitely digest the banana cream for dessert.

I had the brisket it was very nice. Must have sat on the counter a bit as it looked dry (?), Mashed potato and greens were tasty. The watermelon margarita was delicious. We had booth towards the back thank goodness as it is very loud in there. Thank you Brittany for your kind & attentive service!
