Since the ownership change the restaurant has truly taken a different direction. Food quality is amazing. The lamb chops are incredible with rice that reminds me of mamas cooking. This is Afghan food done right.

The wife and I left dinner way too late (9:30pm) on Christmas Eve and were searching all over the neighborhood for something to eat with no luck... even fast food places were closed.
Saw the “open” sign at Afghan Cuisine and pulled in hoping we could get some food, even if it was just to go.
We were welcomed at the door and made to feel very welcome despite the fact it was 30 minutes from closing. The staff were super friendly and helpful with suggestions on dishes and drinks and the food was delicious. (Tarragon soda? Mind blown!). Lamb chops, ground beef skewers, chicken korma - all excellent. Ate so much we didn’t have space for dessert so will have to wait till next time.
There will absolutely be many more next times, between the food and the staff who made us feel like family we will definitely be back.

First time coming to this restaurant. The new owners have excellent customer service, they’re very attentive to details and work hard to exceed your expectations. . My favorite part was the interior of this place, it’s beautifully decorated, if I go out with my friends or have visitors from out of state, this will be the place I go. The food was authentically prepared by the owner and his family, it was well seasoned and the lamb was well cooked. The rice was perfect, fluffy and not Undercooked. The Shami kebab was phenomenal and the lamb stew was mouthwatering. Definitely excited to try more delicious food in my future visits!

First time having Afghan food, my goodness it was amazing. We got a lamb and rice dish, incredible flavor and a big portion. The people working there were really friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try, it's incredibly tasty. I wish this place was closer to where I live in the Bay.
