A little taste from the south. Good food and full bar. Try the Bloody Marys and the Snapper. Will be back for sure. Wrote this before desert you have to get deep fried pecan pie.

Spectacular jewel of a spot to enjoy yourself.
I came for lunch, stayed through dinner and all the way to close.
Full bar, amazing service, beautiful space to relax in. Truly this is a 100% Genuine Country Kitchen, the kind of place that makes you feel like you're at home from the second you walk in.

The staff is welcoming and accommodating, talented, and lovely. The food is fantastic home-made style goodness. From Biscuits and Gravy to Collard Greens, this spot has the Southern Charm that the Bay Area has been missing. Prices are so good that you can stay (as I did) and eat and drink all day without breaking your wallet.

I give it a solid 6/5 stars. This little spot is the brightest Gem in Concord for sure!

Update: 01/13/2020 had the 16 Bean soup with sausage. Holy Lord does it stick to your ribs and make you feel like you are right at home. The ladies here sure know their comfort foods!

We have been wanting to try this place for some time. Finally got that chance to try it on night and oh man, fried chicken sandwich was on a whole nother level! Service was fast and attentive. 10/10 would recommend, can't wait to try their breakfast.

Update, second time coming here different server and yet the same amazing service! This place is a must try!

Excellent chicken sammie. But, I really went there for the deep fried Twinkies and deep fried Key Lime Pie. Cigar lovers welcome every Friday night out on the back patio. Full bar and tasty beers on tap, too. A real gem of a place.
