Great food. Great service. Brought a small group of clients and would definitely recommend.
The place has a really inviting decoration of cottage-style high ceilings, with unbelievable selection of wines and steaks. You cannot go wrong with the Australian Tajima Black Wagyu! It melted in the mouth with different tastes filling your receptors.
One of the best steakhouses I’ve been to throughout the Bay Area. Food is always delicious and cooked to perfection. The cocktail specials are always fun to try, and they have a great wine selection. I love everything about this restaurant, especially their service.
Very good steaks. I had the medium cooked ribeye. It was a good portion and came with crunchy fried string onions. The pear salad was good too. I had nuts, spring mixed salad, and pears.
I went to Forbes Mill for dinner. (I finally decided on writing a review, since the last time I went to Forbes, there were issues in food and service quality as well.) To start my 66.00 steak was good! We had to ask for bread, it didn't come automatic like normal. My 10.00 Caesar salad was insultingly small and had no and even less dressing. I returned the salad and instead of making me a new improved one, they only asked if I wanted a different salad, so I chose the wedge, but to my surprise, they charged me the higher wedge salad price. They could of just ignored the price difference as a good will gesture, or a more customary move and comp the whole salad. Very low blow move to charge the higher price! My baked potato at 5pm (still early in the evening) was small and crispy overcooked. After dinner, no one ever removed the crumbs/debris off the table. My friend was the one to hand the waiter the money and he was the only one thanked for coming. Bottom line is a level of professional detail is missing. The prices charged are not consistent with the "care and quality" of the final product!
