Any better and I would have to move in next door lol.. no seriously, it was really good. 1st time and so far I recommend the waffle. It was truly delicious, reasonably priced, and comfortable atmosphere. Definitely a reason to frequent the area.

This was my go to spot for a hearty breakfast when I lived in Martinez. The omelette selection always left me wishing I had enough appetite for two (though I often chose the bacon omlette which was so loaded with big hunks of bacon, I always took half of it home and ate the other half for breakfast the next morning). Love their hash browns and country potatoes too. My other favorite was their stuffed tomato chicken salad on a bed of lettuce (best chicken salad I've ever had, and again I regularly got 2 meals out of the salad). Suffice to say, the portions are prodigious and the service was always prompt and helpful. If you're looking for tasty, quality American fare for breakfast or lunch, with prompt, friendly wait service, this is the place to go in Martinez!

This is a real "greasy spoon" kind of joint. Nothing fancy; a classic diner. It is not pretending to be anything else, and that's where your expectation should be.

Friendly staff, the same every time you go, there's a little wait to be seated for lunch, but that's because it is good food at a reasonable price. They fill your soda or iced tea without much effort and send you on your way with your belly full. Highly recommended for breakfast or lunch.

Wow, what a gem! A great find for a delicious giant breakfast. You make a beer of champagne brunch out of it if you desire. You can even eat lunch at 830 am. Great variety and fast service.

Decent service, good coffee. I had a chicken salad sandwich on toasted sourdough for lunch; nicely made but not much flavor. Next day (jury duty) I had the breakfast special. The place wasn't busy. Good price, but the pancakes we're cold, as were the eggs over-easy.
