This was our first time trying Mama’s Lumpia and we were so excited! We got both the chicken and pork lumpia, the pancit, and I got an ube milk tea as well.
The pancit - 10/10, so good, flavorful, perfect. No complaints.
The lumpia - 8/10, we couldn’t tell the difference between the pork and the chicken. The filling was a bit scarce and a bit dry, but with the sweet chili sauce they were good. My infant and toddler both loved them so that’s a win for me.
The ube milk tea - 8/10, flavorful, good, but very very sweet. Love that they use oat milk though.
They also don’t take phone orders - walk-ins only, which is a bit of a bummer. But we will be recommending this place and returning for take out!
(Review from February 10th 2022 experience) Food was hot and fresh. Lumpia was crispy that made such a satisfying crunch with a savory bite from the middle. The PERFECT comfort food. Their Ube drink was a spot-on refreshment for that sunny Bay Area weather. If you’re from out of town, hit this spot up!
Good food takes time…. It’s made fresh so give yourself time to order and wait for the goodness to come to you 🤤
Can’t say enough good things about this business. Not only do they stay true to their roots but the customer care is beyond extraordinary. Goes beyond just taste it’s the fact they don’t cut corners to get the food done faster. On top of that the wide selection of authentic Filipino food is vast and affordable! If you have been looking for a new place to try I would definitely recommend Mamas Lumpia. Personal recommendation would be to try their garlic noodles and their adobo lumpia!
This place is SHMACK. I’ve been ordering from them since they were operating out of their house and I’ve tried just about everything on the menu. It’s so hard to find a restaurant that serves good authentic Filipino food in the Concord area! This family-owned and operated place is a great addition to the area. I also love that the owners make you feel like part of the family. They’re the sweetest! This place is a must-go. They also have a very aesthetic areas for great photo ops!
