Wonderful service with beautiful surroundings. Amazing turn of last last century architecture with the history of Port Costa on full display.
Food and drinks are very good and I saw no issues worth bringing up. Go and enjoy.
So much fun! Great food, friendly staff, warm atmosphere... can't wait to go again. If I had one complaint, it would be that it took forever to get our drinks from the bar... and the restaurant was not even busy yet???? Next time, we're just going to order our next round, when our first round arrives. Other than that, LOVED it!
Starting with a round from the cocktail masters in the bar, our table of 8 had the best time! Incredible service, so friendly and prompt and the food was simply delicious. Each small plate, entree and side were mouth watering. We had burrata, mussels, wedge salads, salmon, steak, fried chicken, mac and cheese, scalloped potatoes. I know each of us will be back for sure!
My wife, son and I had a great time at dinner last night, as always. It didn't start out so nice while we tried to enjoy a cocktail at the bar before dinner. The petite Female bartender could not have done anything more to make us feel unwanted, and they weren't busy. This wasn't our first time with this bartender but she always has a poor attitude. She wasn't nice at all until we were leaving and I asked her name. (I find that people enjoy talking about themselves).
The tip to enjoying BVR is not being served by the lady bartender.
Knowing that I work here, the review had to be a good one. The staff is super friendly, the food is something that you'd love to have at least once a week. The only problem that I have with it is the parking lot being way too small for a restaurant that gets as many customers as it does a week. The town is supposedly haunted in some parts so you'll always hear stories when you ask. If you want to come to the Bull Valley Roadhouse and avoid the busy days come on Thursday or Sunday, because Friday and Saturday there's always an overflow.
Another tip for booking your reservation is to come on a rainy day. That factor alone cuts the reservation number almost down to half of what it was. Pop
